Field Trip Fridays Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using fieldtripfridays.org (the “Site”) or registering for a Field Trip Fridays program or event, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or register for our programs.

2. Who We Are

Field Trip Fridays is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Dallas/Fort Worth that connects homeschool families across Texas with in-person, experiential K-12 field trips.

3. Use of the Site

You may use the Site to learn about our programs, register for events, make donations, and communicate with us. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information when registering
  • Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Site’s operation
  • Use the Site to harass, harm, or misrepresent yourself to other users or staff

4. Event Registration and Participation

  • Registration for field trips and events is subject to availability and any capacity limits set by our venue partners.
  • Parents and guardians are responsible for the accuracy of information submitted for themselves and any children they register.
  • Some events may require a signed waiver or release of liability prior to participation. Attendance may be contingent on completing required forms.
  • Field Trip Fridays reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel events due to circumstances such as venue availability, weather, or low enrollment.

5. Donations and Financial Assistance

  • Donations made through the Site support Field Trip Fridays’ programming, including our Field Trips for All financial assistance program.
  • Donations are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion.
  • Financial assistance is provided based on need and program availability and is not guaranteed for any specific family or event.

6. Membership

Memberships are offered on an annual basis. Membership benefits, pricing, and terms are described at the time of purchase and may change from year to year.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and photos, is owned by Field Trip Fridays or used with permission, and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our written consent.

8. Photo and Media Release

By participating in Field Trip Fridays events, you acknowledge that photos or video may be taken for use in our newsletters, social media, and promotional materials. If you do not wish for yourself or your child to be photographed, please notify us in writing before the event.

9. Third-Party Links

Our Site may link to third-party websites, including venue partners and payment processors. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third-party sites.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Field Trip Fridays provides the Site and its programs on an “as is” basis. While we work to select safe venues and reliable partners, we are not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages that occur during third-party venue visits, except as required by law. Participation in field trips is at your own risk, and applicable waivers may further define this.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
