Mission Statement
Field Trip Fridays transforms homeschool education through accessible, experiential learning for all children.
Expand access to experiential learning
We open doors to places, people, and experiences that make learning impossible to forget.
Ensure cost is never a barrier
No family should have to choose between paying bills and giving their child a meaningful experience.
Build community that lasts
When families find their people, everyone thrives, and we show up consistently to make that possible.
The proof is in the field trips:
Mainstay Farm
Before Christmas, Field Trip Fridays families visited Mainstay Farm, a Christmas tree farm in Cleburne, Texas. For many, it was their very first field trip with us. Our Connect Crew volunteer member, Brittany L., made sure every family felt welcomed and connected from the moment they arrived. Families who had never met left as friends.

Allen Americans Hockey Game
Field Trip Fridays has attended three Allen Americans School Day games, building a partnership that goes well beyond the ice. The Allen Americans have served as a sponsor for our field trips, and after one game, they cleared the rink just for our families while players stepped off the bench to give our kids an ice skating lesson firsthand.

Valentine’s Day Party, 2025
When one of our members, Jacqueline R., asked if anyone knew of Valentine’s Day parties for homeschoolers in the area, we decided to create one, and she was the perfect person to host it. Each child decorated a mailbox, exchanged Valentine’s cards with new friends, and spent the afternoon playing freely on the playground.

Natural Bridge Caverns
Our Dallas Fort Worth families traveled by charter bus to San Antonio to visit Natural Bridge Caverns and The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University in San Marcos. Field Trip Fridays covered 80% of costs for 20 members through our Field Trips for All financial assistance program, ensuring no child missed out.

Our community makes everything possible
Field Trip Fridays exists because of the families who show up, include us in their homeschool journey, and keep coming back. Every field trip, every spark of curiosity, and every milestone we’ve reached is a direct reflection of this community. We are endlessly grateful.
Our family has had such a fun time being a part of Field Trip Fridays. We’ve gotten to experience professional hockey games, animal rescue centers, creative arts, even glass blowing!

We’ve been with Field Trip Fridays since the beginning. We have enjoyed every single field trip we have attended. The kids have learned a lot and so have I.
