  • How do I join Field Trip Fridays?

    Join the Facebook group for your closest location: Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio.


    Once you are approved into the group, you will gain access to view our upcoming field trips (in the Events tab). 


    To register for field trips, become a Field Trip Member here.

  • Is there a cost to be a Field Trip Fridays member?

    Our Facebook group is free to join. There, you'll find a list of all upcoming field trips.


    To participate in field trips, you must become a Field Trip Member. Membership dues are $5 per month, or you can pay a one-time fee that covers your family through May. The registration form to become a Field Trip Member is available here.

  • How are Field Trip Membership fees used?

    Great question! Your membership fees support our operations, covering staff, supplies, fundraising, and software costs.


    Our main priority is the Field Trip Scholarship Fund, which receives the largest portion of our budget. This aligns with our core mission: ensuring all families can access homeschool field trips, regardless of their financial circumstances.

  • How do I sign up for a field trip?

    Follow these steps to secure your spot on an upcoming field trip:


    1. On our Field Trip Sign Up, select a trip and note the date/time when registration opens.


    2. Set an alarm to alert you - spots fill up fast!


    3. Once registration opens, follow the prompts to sign up.


    4. You're confirmed when you receive an email confirmation - yay!


    Field trips are popular and availability is limited, so mark your calendar and act quickly when registration opens to reserve your spot. 

  • What are the costs per field trip?

    We offer field trips at various price points to accommodate all budgets:


    • Some trips are free
    • Many cost between $5 to $15 per person
    • A few range up to about $80 per person

    Prices are set by the venues, often with group discounts applied.

  • How can I preview upcoming field trips?

    All upcoming field trips are listed in the Facebook group Events tab. Not on Facebook? You can also see all upcoming field trips as a Field Trip Member.

  • I'm having trouble logging in. What should I do?
